today we were productive. we were able to get to get the outline and storyboard done. we were also able to compleate alll the basic information like the credits and quotes for the preview. the program that we used was called imovie wich is weird because it does not have a save setting


         we were able to make a movie title and edit all basic information. me and kristian did alot today but really we could have done alot more.m i expected a diffrent program but i can make this work. kristan and i are at the same pace in our diffrent movies. we made shure that we did everything that was needed to do.

 my investigation was to help 6th graders understand the design cycle. i had different ideas like making a song, video, animation, or even a comic book but instead i turned out making a song. i chose a sing because i had the recourse's. i documented everything with a reflecion post almost every single day.

i chose a song because i had the recourse's to do it. i went over the criterion for the projects and i figured that it would fit in and i would be able to do it. i developed three different designs that i could have done and i decided to chose to just copy a beat from a song and record over it.

i planed out the product and how it would sound. i mapped out the time i would need for it and it turned out not to be enough time since i have a busy schedule believe it or not. i looked over the plan and it looked like i was going to have time but really i didn't. i made modification and spent more time on my project but it didn't come out right it sounded like crap.

when i created the project i didn't document it at all. there were no pictures no videos no nothing. but i did use tools. i used fl studios for the beat and i ended up using audacity for recording but when you listen you cant hear my voice as well as i would like to do it. the changes i would like to make is to improve the sound quality of my voice 

to be true with my self my product wouldn't impact anything. maybe if you could hear my voice in it. i could improve it by having better quality microphone.i would give my self a 6 when it came down to everything besides create. i have no idea how i would have done better unless like i said that if i had a better mic but i am open to suggestions.

to be true with my self i was not motivated when it came to this project. i guess i was safe i really don't understand how i couldn't be safe when i came to this project. i did respect others during this process

i wasn't able to turn in my project because i was using my home computer and it didn't have a speaker so i couldn't record my voice. i am going to get my laptop this weekend and finnish my project and post this weekend

i give my self a 5 because all i need is lyrics and to put it all together then i well be done. then i need to convert it to mp3 format and load it up onto my flash drive. right now I'm am going to listen to the beat and try to fit in to were it sounds like it fits. i really learned that in the process of this whole thing is that i hate doing projects for this class. i am really tired and just want to be done with it. i am really tired and want this to be over with and i don't want to deal with the responsibility and the time schedule

to day i worked on my thesis statement for my world geography class. i finished it and i took my test and i got a 60 with out a review of the extra point. which i well most likely getting an 80 or 70 when its all over.

 the 3 different designs that i can think of is a dub-step witch consist of lots of bass drop and chop and screwing. But then again i can use a simple rap beat and just auto tune my voice in it to make it catchy and make it my own. Or i can really just take preloaded beats chop them up make them my own and enter my voice in the background record over it then re-record witch well turn it into a subliminal message. But really i think i'm just going to make a dub-step and just sing lyrics on it then chop and screw it. Make it to were it flows with the beat.

i am going to make a song. i am making a song because i got all the recouscourses. i am making it for 6^th graders since they are just entering middle school and they need to be brought up to speed.

11. What are the requirements for this assignment?

i must teach them the design in a shot song possibly in less then a minute thirty secounds. 

12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment?

being ablle to sing the lyrics clearly to were they are able to understand what the desgin cycle is.

13. How will you "test" your project?

I well test my projects by playing it to a group of 6^th graders and see if they are able to retain anything i said

fl studio 8xxl

speed- fl studios 8xxl is the ultimate music editing program. its responsive and quick to boot up, i use it allot but mostly just for fun. i have made beats with it and it was easy and quick its both simple and complex. i like it because it does what i want it to do when i want it to do it there is no lag and almost no bugs in it. i like it responds to what ever i want it to do, if i want to edit the tempo; i can. if i want to edit the pitch; i can. in wavsaurios i can't do that. and i can do it twice as fast. i well be able to put in all my effort to make a greet thing in minimum amount of time. i well be able to do things that i wouldn't be able to do with the other program and i well be able to do it fast. this program is really responsive it does what ever i want it to do.

simplicity- this program isn't the easiest to run. it takes Patience practice and lots of tutorial videos to be able to master it. the reason it is so hard to use is because it is a professional recording, beat creator and music editing program. i like it; i get it. but other people don't; they think it is confessing and complicated. and yes it is but is is such a great program that's why recording studios across the united states use it. people might not get it but i do that's why i use it i have tried other programs and this is one of the best i have used and its for a reason; its good you well be able to make quality music with it. over all its hard to use but it gets the job done and it gets the job done right.

user friendly- when it comes to this program there are many tutorial videos and step by step instructions. that's how i learned how to use it i watched videos and i read instructions on it. also when you start it up for the first time there is a introduction that shows you all the main parts. it basically shows you your basic editing like changing your tempo or change. or were there are templates that give you the basic beat.you can also build your beats from scratch. there is sounds that you can use and from there you can change the tempo pitch. Or just about any thing that you want to do with it.

accessibility- this program is accessible to me cause i have the program on a external hard drive at home and i have it loaded up on my computer at home. i can use it when ever i want to when I'm at home no mater if its day or night. if the Internet is  down or if the computer is broken i all ready have it loaded on my external hard drive. i also have access to it if all thing go down the drain i can go to my friend jc house who also has the same program as me loaded on his computer. that's why i like this program it was recommended to me by my brothers friend DJ low and i recommended it to my friend jc. music is a universal language and with this program i can access this language. that's why i really like this I'm infatuated by this program cause i can do almost any thing with it. and if i wanted i could download bits and parts of popular song s and involve it into my song.

 wavosaur

speed-this program wavosaur is fast and responsive its easy to work with but it doesn't do what i want it to do. i well be able to throw something together with out trying but it wont sound as good, and i wont put any effort in it. i wouldn't lead a good example for the 6th graders. wavsauris is easy to run since it is a free ware there isn't much i have to do to get up and running but like i said before it doesn't run fast enough for me. it doesn't respond quick enough for me. it boots up quick and I'm able to start it. i well give it that but i don't like the fell of it. i fell as if it lags to much and i don't get to use it for its full potential. 

simplicity- this program is simple and easy to use for me and well most likely be easy to make a song with it, but it doesn't have accessibility to it i well not be able to go in depth. There is a simple beat and you cut and paste audio. the thing with it that i wont be able to access it at home and if i did it would not do what i want it to do for me. this software is an example of the easy way out. Shur it well do what is need to be done. shur i well be able to show 6th graders how to use the design cycle in the lyrics but it wont be good enough. this is to easy i want it to be legit and professional. so i can lead the 6th graders the right way and be a romodel for them and show them to not take the easy way out. i want them to try there hardest and follow each step of the design cycle and for them to learn what it is.

user friendly- this program is kinda user friendly. when i tried using it i had difficult making it do what i really wanted it to do. i cant really edit the tempo i cant go in and actually edit everything i want it to edit. it is ok i have seen worse music editing software's but this is kinda bad. to me it doesn't give me full access for everything that  i need to have access to. it is OK like i said before but i have seen better. don't take it wrong its good for a freeware. but like i said before it doesn't do everything that you need it to do for you.

accessibility-this isn't that accessible for me since my Internet at my house is the best and most of the times it has been down. it would be greet if there was a disk or if it was easier to download here at school. but since i really cant if i were to use this program it would end up being more difficult then it really is.  i wouldn't be able to access this all the time. but if i could i would give it a higher score but since i cant I'm still going to give it 2. if i was able to install it here at school it would be fine but since i cant i well just have to deal with it. if i could i would use this program but i really don't like it if it wasn't buggy, as glitch, and if i were to use it any were i went it would be good.

 I well maybe even do music with a program called fl studios 8xxl. or use a a free ware program called wavosaur. i would really like to use fl studios because you can go real in-depth but if i did use it i would have to install additional software. it would be worth it but it would be time consuming. f; studio is a professional program used by recording studios all over the world. wavosaur is a free share ware that has quality and is legit. i well most likely use fl studio for my design cycle i well compose and produce my music. it well draw in 6th grader and they well be able to understand the design cycle and use it in real life situations.
